13 Days Uganda Jungle Tour
Day 1 Airport Transfer
After you arrive at Entebbe International Airport, our representative will pick you up and introduce you to you driver/guide who will thereafter be in charge of your wellbeing. You will the drive to your lodge/hotel. If your flight arrives in the morning, you will embark on the city tour and visit prominent places and some of Kampala's historical sites with the help of our driver/guide. This city tour will feature sites like Kasubi Tombs, Wamala tombs, Namugongo Martyrs Shrine, Museums and craft shops. Or Visit Uganda Wildlife Education Centre. Dinner and overnight at your hotel of a good standing.
Day 2 Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park
After a wonderful breakfast and head to Murchison Falls National Park. Have launch in Masindi then proceed to the magnificent falls. Marvel at the robust Nile as it is farfetched into a seven-meter abyss to rumble 45 meters below. Check the series of cascades it forms, which can be viewed at different points up to the culmination. Dinner and night at Luxurious Paraa Lodge/mid range Sambiya River lodge /Basic Red chillis camp
Day 3 Game Drive, Nature walk and launch trips
Wake up early morning for breakfast, set for a half-day game drive on the northern Bank of the Nile River. The choice is yours to either make a game walk to trail animals and study their spoors. Game in this park includes; Rothschild Giraffe, Elephant, Jackson Hartebeest, Lions, Waterbucks and a variety of Savannah woodland birds. After lunch, at 14:00 hrs, launch on a Nile boat cruise to view aqua game at close proximity. This is a unique encounter with a paradise of hippos and crocodiles, among other animals. Then take dinner and overnight at Luxurious Paraa Lodge /Mid range Sambiya River lodge /Basic Red chillis camp.
Day 4 Murchison Falls to Kibale National Park
Take a morning game drive before ferry crossing. Drive westwards to Kibale National Park. The drive is approximately 8 hours. Dinner and overnight at Luxurious Ndali Lodge/Mid range Rwenzori View guest House/Basic kanyankyu ecological site park headquaters.
Day 5 Chimp Tracking
A relatively early morning start, report to the ranger station in Kibale National Park at 08:00am to track habituated chimps. These delightful apes, more closely related to humans are tremendous fun to watch as they squabble and play in fruiting trees. Relish a guided nature walk in the tropical rainforest evergreen in exploration of other primates such as the black and white colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys bush babies baboons and also grey mangabeys. A network of shady forest trails provides much to delight botanists and butterfly lover, while birders are in for a treat with 335 species recorded including the endemic prirogrine’s ground thrush. Have a luncheon, then go to the Crater Lake region and view the various Crater Lakes. Enjoy your stay as you watch a traditional talent group dance. Take your dinner and overnight at Luxurious Ndali Lodge/Mid range Rwenzori View guest House/basic kanyankyu ecological site at park headquaters.
Day 6 Kibale National Park to Semliki
After breakfast, drive to the park primate viewing, visit Bigodi eco tourism site. Proceed to Semliki National Park. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 7 Semliki National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Retreat early after breakfast for the crown and hot springs. This will be the day in the pygmy villages located near the Ituri Rainforest. The visit to the villages has proven to be an interesting cultural experience. The guide will carry packed lunch for you that will be served at the Picnic while you experience the True African secrets. Later in the afternoon you will be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge/ Jacana Safari Lodge/ Institute of Ecology.
Day 8 Chimp Tracking/ Launch Trip
Early morning game drive along Kasenyi track and queen’s mile. After lunch, go for a launch trip on Kazinga channel and an evening walk to the bird hide out. Dinner and overnight at Mweya/ Jacana Safari Lodge/ Institute of Ecology.
Day 9 Queen ElizabethNational Park - Bwindi
This morning you will leave for the 08:00am chimp tracking in Kyambura Gorge. Trail in search for habituated chimpanzees and other primates. Visit the Bat cave and hunters cave where we take a close look at the bats, rock python and forest cobras. This will also provide a chance of seeing birds, primates, and different tree species. Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrabe National Park for dinner and overnight at Luxury Gorilla Forest camp /Mid Range Lake Kitandara luxury tents / Buhoma Homestead or basic at Buhoma Community Bandas.
Day 10 Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi
Up relatively early for a hearty breakfast, before 8.00am report to the ranger station for registration and briefing by the rangers. The guides will then take you through the bush pushing your way through the undergrowth, parting thick creepers, to track the gorillas. It is an extraordinary feeling sitting in the dense rainforest knowing you are with the few remaining gorillas. Dinner and overnight stay at Luxury Gorilla Forest camp /Mid Range Lake Kitandara luxury tents / Buhoma Homestead or basic at Buhoma Community Bandas.
Day 11 Bwindi - Lake Bunyonyi
After a morning breakfast, we depart for Lake Bunyonyi for dinner and overnight at Bunyonyi Overland camp or Arcadia cottages.
Day 12: Lake Bunyonyi
In the morning, have a sumptuous breakfast at leisure and cherish some relaxing moments on the shores of this peaceful lake. Tourists will choose among the various tour activities. They can choose to go birding, cycling, and sun bathing, swimming or even canoeing. Dinner and overnight at Arcadia cottages/ Bunyonyi Overland camp.
Day 13: Lake Bunyonyi to Kampala
After a hearty breakfast, head to Kampala having lunch enroute. You will be transferred to the airport for your flight.
