A list of Rwanda Safari packages

Day 1: Transfer toRwanda

This will depend on your arrival details. If you fly in from Kigali our driver guide will pick you from Kigali International air port and transfer you to your Hotel or if you are in Uganda you will be transferred from Kampala to Rwanda. From Kampala you will drive southwards to reach Ruhengeri. Then you will pass through the Ankole region, a place rich with typical Ankole cattle, coffee plantations and the different vegetations of Uganda, up to the terraced and cultivated hills of the Kigezi region, best known as "the Switzerland of Africa". Kisoro is located at the foothills of Muhavura volcano at the borders between Uganda, Congo and Rwanda. Proceed beyond the border and reach Ruhengeri in Rwanda in time for dinner and overnight at Gorilla's Nest lodge or Kinigi Guest house.

Day 2: Trekking Mountain Gorillas

Early morning departure for the mountains gorilla tracking. After the briefing from the authorities of the park, set off for the trekking into the rain tropical forest searching for the habituated gorilla family. You remain close to the beautiful primates for over one hour, for observation and photography. Make sure you carry with you packed lunch and water. Depending on the time you will spend while trekking you may decide to take another activity at you own cost. Transfer to your lodge for dinner and over night.

Day 3: Transfer to Kigali/ EntebbeInternationalAirport

The safari will end with Air port transfers either at Kigali or Entebbe International air port
