Chimpanzees which are mans, closest living relatives require rich all year supply of food and live in moist productive forests although they are very adaptable which can account for their being in dry savannah grasslands to woodland areas. Chimpanzees are highly sociable creatures living in colonies of upto 120 members. It is not strange however, to find some chimpanzees living alone. Chimp diet consists mainly of vegetation although they may also consume flesh.
