From Mount Kenya you will head north past the equator to Samburu where you will have lunch at your lodge. While in Samburu you will get a chance to experience the unique features of the dust red plains and palm like rivers, and sun scorched scrublands that extend beyond Lake Turkana. You will go for an afternoon game drive for views of animals like the endangered Grevy zebra, the rare beisa Oryx and the blue-legged Somali ostrich not forgetting the large herds of elephant that roam the samburu hills.
